How to rip CD's that you buy in the store? What program?

iTunes, Windows Media Player, and basically every other music player have the option to rip music from CD. Quick note on formats: mp3 is most common, especially for portable players because of its small size, but lacks some quality. Other formats will play on your computer but not on most music players. With the CD, though, you still have the originals so you can rip it again in a different format if need be.
