Will LSU's lack of a proven running game hurt them this year?

How can these peoples say LSU lack of proven running back won't hurt them, so running game is not part of the game plan or what. Of course the lack of a good running games will hurt them, they better find some proven player by the time they play the in-conference schedule or the other team defense will stack the secondary to play the p more, if they know LSU cannot run the ball. So i think it will hurt them, but i think they will find a running back to feature out of the backfield, because LSU do have a good depth at RB's.
