Road trip destinations near Annapolis, MD?

Instead of going to Beach Week after highschool graduation, I was planning on possibly organizing a road trip (because I don't like the beach, and still want something fun to do with a few friends who don't want to go to beach week either). My school is in Annapolis, Maryland, and I can't think of too many locations that'd be fun to go to around here. I've already been to colonial williamsburg for a week, maybe somewhere like philadelphia or pittsburg? new york city? any off-the-mill answers are welcome. I'm just brainstorming right now.
