Is it ovulation or something else?

I've been having this pain on the right side in my abdominal area for the past 4-5 days. The first 3 days it was just a slight aching pain. I couldn't really pinpoint where the pain was because it was so slight. It kind of felt like growing pain that I got as a child but it was in my groin area. The fourth day, I woke up and it felt like it was my ovary or appendix and it was more of a stabbing sharp pain. I immediately went to urgent care because I don't have a general physician. Of course he didn't tell me anything except it "could" be ovarian cysts, ovulation, appendicitis, or kidney stones. Today I don't have any pain. I have an appointment at my OBGYN for tomorrow but I'm not sure if I should cancel my appointment cause the pain is gone, and I'd rather not pay 100 bucks for them to tell me its just ovulation. I guess my question is, Can ovulation last for a couple days? Ive heard it only last for a couple hours.
