Can I get unemployment?

I have been working at a dealership since May 13, 2010 and just got laid off to day for lack of work. I was a part time employee working 1-6 monday thru friday as a porter being paid hourly. I think that that is a little over 6 months and I have made a little over 7,000$ there. Am I able to recieve unemployment? Please elaborate. Thanks very much
