Has anyone experienced weight gain after gastric byp surgery?

I haven't but my mom has. She had the surgery, lost a ton of weight and now she is slowing gaining weight again. You still have to be willing to exercise and eat healthy. She can't eat a lot, but she eats too much sugar I think.
