Quinceanera Questions?

Okay, So I am going to be having my quinceanera and it is going to be a masquerade theme. I am going to wear a really pretty white mask so I have to get a white dress. I read about the colors for a quinceanera and dresses are supposed to be white or pastel but that has changed over time. I don't a dress that is as puffy as the ones online, because that is not my style. Do you think it will be okay if I get a white dress that isn't so puffy for my quinceanera? Oh and the quinceanera is formal and the guests have to wear black. Guys can wear white shirts.
